22kt Gold Alexandrite Ring Herkimer made by hand in JaipurThis very rare 4. 08ct old Sri Lankan cushion cut Alexandrite, is a beautiful example of this extraordinary mineral and one of the world's most desirable gems. With an 80% colour change range it moves from bright blue to purple red in natural sunlight. Originally named after the Tsar Alexandre of Russia, the colours of green and red were found in the colour change stones. This is a very remarkable stone and not something we are likely to find again.
