Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a raised Othala (Odal rune) situated within a knotted border, the reverse with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, affixed with a plated bearing an inscription of HANDARBEIT (HAND MADE), along with the makers mark of Carl Dillenius, Pforzheim, a silver content number of 800, and a crown and crescent indicating German manufacture, measuring 39. 62 mm in diameter,
