We keep ours in intermediate conditions but they also appear to do well grown as lowlanders by Thai growers

We've grown in outside year around in Northern California where it thrived

It's one of our favorite aroid species

Anthurium luxurians Size:Small The traps on this formAnthurium luxurians is a gorgeous species with bullate leaves. When the plants are young, the developing leaves are a pale porcelain which darken to green over time. As the plant matures, leaves open a gorgeous chocolate color and then darken to a forest green. We've found "lux" to be a slow but steady grower that stays relatively compact and flowers at a fairly small size. This product is considered an Intermediate Tropical plant. Please see our
