The commode is of the finest quality, the top is made of black & white variegated veined marble. The commode with four drawers, the top drawer with a large impressive gilt bronze lock escutcheon, featuring twin cupids with their bows drawn, with an eagle to the center nestled amongst laurel leaves. The three drawers below
